01 pontiac aztek
hi folks -just posting about a weird problem ...vehicle will start and run for about 30 sec then die..you could do this twice then no start until it sat for an hour or so....well thinking fuel pump or plugged filter cause cust was almost out of fuel.....started to drop the tank to retreive the old fuel pump after pressure checks and flow test...turned up bad pump...while losening the tank straps I saw water dripping from a electrical connector block under the chasis with wires running to the fuel tank...well unplugged it and a river came flowing out of the plug and their were corroded and broken wires that ran the pump well repaired the 8 or so wires and the car fired like a champ....I went inside the car to the pass rear and pulled up the carpet to find an indent were the plug goes just full of water from peoples feet getting in and out of the car...now thats gm engineeringSmileSmileShyShy

RE: 01 pontiac aztek
So the Aztek wasn't just ugly on the outside - it was ugly under the carpets too?

Actually, the new Nissan Juke seems to be the reincarnation of the Aztek.

Or perhaps the Aztek was just 15 years ahead of its time?
