10W30.com is a forum for the Auto Service Industry. While we have a DIY advice area open for non-industry people, our primary focus is on helping those in the industry support each other.
Our moderation approach is rather relaxed - we give our members a bit of room to be expressive in their posts, but we do not welcome swearing or name-calling. Keep it clean and on topic, and let your personality shine.
It will take a number of months before most of the new forums are populated with discussions, but if you like what you see, please tell a few of your peers about 10W30.com so we can get the discussions going more quickly. And if you don't like what you see, please post a New Thread in the Suggestions forum (in the Lounge) to offer up ways to make it better!
Have you performed any auto-repair miracles like like recuscitating an antique Rambler?
Or have you ever witnessed collossal auto repair stupidity like swapping Ferrari engine into a pacer?
Tell us about it!

10w30 is a website for the Auto Repair Service industry. As a courtesy, we have created this one forum section for Do-It-Yourselfers to post their auto repair advice requests. Do not post support requests in any other other forums. Professional and Shade-Tree mechanics will answer your requests here as their time allows.

We want to see what you're up to!
Post up pictures and descriptions of your shop, your newest piece of equipment, or project car that you just finished (or even finished 5 years ago!)
Talk about anything - the weather, your family, even politics! No flame wars, and keep it clean please.
