A German, American, and Russian rubber manufacturers are arguing about whose rubber is better.

The German says: "Our rubber is so strong that a fine German car can drive 100,000 kilometers on a set of German tires"

The American says: "that's nothing -- one guy trying to commit suicide recently jumped from the top of the Empire State building. On the second-floor level, his suspenders got caught on the flag pole. The suspenders held and the guy was saved -- that's how strong American rubber is. "

The Russian guy says: " That's nothing -- we had a guy fall out of the airplane a few days ago -- the guy got flattened, of course -- but rubber galoshes are as good as new."
