Inspection Woes
In the wonderful state of NY they have made it a requirement for 1996 and newer cars to go through emissions testing in order to pass inspection. As if the newer cars are the cause of polution. A 1970 truck that gags you when it drives by you doesn't have to pass the emissions test. I have a 98 Ford Taurus, it cost me $ 1300 to get it inspected because of a secondary air system failure. Not all cars have secondary air systems, not even all Ford Taurus'. However mine did. You should of been there to see my face when I got that repair bill!!!
