When you post a request for help, use descriptive title like
Soft brakes on 1985 Ford Escort

In the text of the message, include information about the car:
1985 Ford Escort, 4 door, 1.6 liter engine, automatic transmission, 125,000 miles
The problem:
Brakes slowly go to floor when pressed firmly
Any history:
Brake shoes changed by shop 3 months ago with no troubles since. Hit a big pothole last week and problem seems to have started shortly afterward
And what you've tried already to fix it:
Checked fluid in brake resevoir - fine. Nothing leaking at any of the wheels or on the garage floor when parked.
