Montana instrument guage problem

My inturment panel doesn't read any thing. No rpm, No speed, no fuel. The trouble lights cycle. and the overhead trip computer will read only prompt but no info.IE W Temp--. I check the brake light they work fine and I checked fuses in the dash. What could it be?

Checked connections, grounds and even the connectors to the computer...Nothing, Tapped the top of the dash fiirmly everthing is running fine. I like a cheap fix but should I be preping my self for something?

check the fuses in the emgine compartment if you havent already.

Dash started acting out again, this time the radio would drop sound aswell. Kept tapping the dash, It would come back and drop of quickly util the radio went black. No sound no display no cd, but dash is better. Is the dash and the radio on the same circut? The bottom lights(switchs) still light up is there a stero short? Is it cuasing the dash problem?
Also, the dash has shut down 1-2 times since. Once when it was hit by a load of wood. Came back after a tap.

What should I target?

Try unplugging the radio. Have run into a few GMs that the theft lock stereos have been junk and short out causing other electrical issues. Leave unplugged for awhile and see if any change. Hope your a good singer.
