I'm posting this here, because you won't be able to log in to read your PM's. I hated to do it, but I've cut you off.

You're welcome to hang out and read the forums as a visitor, but I think we need at least a month's break before you should consider re-joining. If you do decide to rejoin in a month, please PM me as soon as you do so we can make sure we're on the same wavelength.

I gotta admit it, we're not hip, cool, tight, or sick - we're just a bunch of guys who like to volunteer our time to help regular Joes get their cars back on the road. We don't always answer requests right away, and we certainly don't have all the answers. But we've built up respect for each other over the months and years. Every one of us started here by answering a few questions in the repair section, seeing who else agreed with them, and when they felt good that their answers were in line with everyone else's, they started chipping in more and more. Friendships have grown based on that respect.

This board isn't the coolest by a long shot - there are other boards with a more customizer focus and a younger crowd. Our focus is on helping folks who need to get to work get their car back on the road - and sharing a few auto repair tales along the way.

If you want to rejoin in a month, please feel free to do so, but send me a PM and lay low for the first few weeks and we'll take it from there.
