I hope to find some time to start writing a few articles about starting up an auto shop, growing to the point of adding a few employees, etc. I've been very busy getting another site going over the past 6 months or so: http://www.thetwistedunderground.com It's pretty well set up now and can take care of itself, so I hope to start writing more for 10w30.

You guys are the reason I've moved the site in this direction - there have to be thousands of small-shop and home-based mechanics out there. Any thoughts and / or wisdom that you can pass on to younger guys up and coming in the field is going to be much appreciated.

I check in at least 2 times a day waiting on some new posts. It doesn't seem like we can get any new posters. Most of the site users are old timers that have been here a few years. I guess cranky needs to go on the street corner holding a sign for us. Nice to see the core group is still here. Will try to find retired also.
