Fuel Cut-off switch 99 corolla
Hi all.--- Is there a fuel cut off switch on a 99 corolla?? Some tell me yes, some no. I know some cars have it in the trunk area, but I dont see a reset button there. Thanks in advance for your help. Bob V

I just looked at Alldatapro and can not find an inertia switch. That is not saying it does not have one. I would call local dealer and see what they say.

RE: Fuel Cut-off switch 99 corolla
Thanks for the replies. I'm having trouble finding this info. The dealer says this 99, does not have a cut off switch, so I guess I'll have to go with that, although I see it for sale on many websites ??? The car just stalled at a stop sign.
I changed out the crank sensor, as the car just shuts off at idle. No stumbling first, just a sharp stall. It started and ran for about 20 minutes, then a stall at a traffic light and now a no start condition again. It cranks smoothly with no variation in the crank. Last week my scan tool showed no codes and now when I hook it up it reads, cannot communicate with system. Does that mean the ecu might be sending intermittent signals to the ignition? Thanks again for everyone's insight.
