Battery CCA or temp sensor-2005 dodge 1500

Whats up guys. I have a truck 2005 dodge,v-6 1500 std cab,shortbed. Seems to have a starting problem,battery seems good 13.1 after shut off and 12.6 after sitting awhile. Some times it will not have enough to crank it over after shut off and then it does this after sitting. What is the factory min. for CCA. in a battery? Could the battery temp sensor be bad and only work after hitting bumps on the road? Never had one go bad. Any ideas.... Thanks fstf2v

hi fstf2v-how old is the battery.... could of shorted out the plates in the battery then hit bumb and bingo it works agian....try doing a load test ... start truck and turn on everything...heat or ac lights 4ways.dome and watch meter should dip slightly maybe to 13 or 12.5 watch for a while and if its not rising the its could be alt or batt

Thanks crank.it . I was thinking it might be a loose battery plate.My buddie has a load tester box. I'll get it and load it up and see what happens.

Very good, crank.it. Another good out come on a virtual diagnosis. A bad battery plate. Gave the truck a load and it was good but, I then tapped the battery and did it again and guess what? It then was bad. Good work crank.it

Still check in at least once a day, if not more. Waiting to see if it will pick back up.
