I have a 99 buick century, for the last couple of weeks if we drive our car then park and turn it off it will not start back up, until it sits about a hour. today it died after it was put into park and then back to drive. help what is the problem we have spark and we changed the fuel filter

Just yesterday, I saw the exactly problem. The mechanic said it is the main rely problem. Good luck.

I hope it is just a relay problem we are supoose to take it in to a mechanic thursday, everyonr thus far has said fuel pump can we say 325 before labor ouch!

It could be that the fuel line is just vapor locking. If the weather as been hot

thank you for your suggestions we replaced the crank sensor and since then we have had no further problems, but also the weather has been cooler so we will see when the weather gets hotter. we are also running better gas in it to see if it helps all over performance.

well as far as it running as soon as the hot weather returned so did the car problems. so we traded out of it and now our problem is gone. thank you for all of your suggestions though they were much appreciated
