The timing chain
I had a no start condition on a 1981 Chevy Caprice with a 267 ci motor. After ensuring it wasn't electrical or fuel problems..a friend of mine suggested the timing chain was wore out..I had never done this type of job before, and I did not have a sprocket puller! I used a crowbar to pry the camshaft sprocket off the engine! The crowbar slipped and it went straight thru the radiator! Boy was that stupid! :lol:
