Ground/ short article
Your article on bad grounds and shorts was most helpfull. My 90 Caprice developed a fuse blowing problem on the convenience circuit (no interior lights, cigarette lighter or radio).
After 3 hours at a garage the mechanic came up ringing his hands and a $180. bill. and still couldn't find the short.
Disconnecting the power arial circuit and taping another fuse in (alot of load hear) solved the problem.
When I tested the arial for power ( it wasn't operating) it decided to come up. I assume it has a grounding problem.
In reading your article I note that the voltage drop device is designed to signal minute changes. I assume one could use a V.O.M. meter to do the same thing if you had someone to evalute changes. Thanks
