flat tires
Heres one that the techs will probably find amuseing. A buddy of mine aired up all 4 tires durring and oil change and parked the car outside. Keep in mind that it is now in the middle of winter and below freezing temps. The owner took the car and went shopping for an hour and came outside to find all 4 tires flat. He called the shop back and expressed his dismay with the service he recieved. Turns out that the drain for the air compressor hadn't been opened in quite some time and the water made its way through the air hose and froze in the valve core allowing for a slow air leak. Once they drained a gallon or so of water from the air compressor the service manager had to apologize to the customer and the tech. Needless to say the compressor was drained on a regular basis from then on. Bill

I shared a ride one winter with this guy that had 1/2 gallon of water in one tire. At first is shook like crazy, but after it warmed up, the ice just settled to the bottom and floated.
