Deer hunting
Well I thought since this chit chat forum is here why not use it.
Anyway here in Pa our rifle deer season started yesterday. Just wondered if anyone else is interested in hunting and when and how did it go or has it gone?
BTW I had a chance to get a nice 8 point but I missed it   !
Anyway just thought I would get something going Big Grin .

If it's got wheels it's gonna give ya trouble!
So let us know.

Oh deer!
Well I haven't done any hunting in a while, but my wife got a six point a few years ago. Killed it with her new Dodge Caravan.

Well the Dodge has seen it days, 185k miles, so I bought her a new Ford Escape in September. Maybe she'll get a ten point!

Happy hunting!

I can fix a whole lot of stuff............I can tear up even more!

Hey Firedog, maybe it would help if you mounted a scope on the dash or better yet just draw crosshairs on the windshield   !!

Shade, isnt that what the hood orniment (+) is for ? course it was probably in a teens pocket by then.
I don't hunt, but in my opinion if ya eat what ya kill it's cool. I use to shoot and reload my cases for a hobby.
Had a 308 Savage lever action with a 6x weaver, to be honest at a hundred yards I could probably hit my foot  I wasn't a great shot.
I had fun though, I also had a very light 12gauge, I would come home with a blue shoulder some times. I think my two favorite for fun guns
were my 22 semi auto survival that weighed 2lbs and came apart fit in the stalk and would float, and my old 30-30Win.

Some guns are the work of real craftsmen, true craftsmen are getting
rare in any field, it's nice to go "WOW! nice work" sometimes.
People that really appreciate real craftsmenship are even rare, it's
a shame,... in my opinion :)bruce
