dull bit's
hey shady-the drill doctor is excellent!!!! a buddy has one and i gave him a box of old bits to sharpen and when they came back I swore he went out and bought some new ones!!!cause they cut like new....he said it only has a problem with cobalt diamond bits(very expensive)the only reason is the cobalt wears off taking the diamond dust with it thus it no longer can cut like it used to when new,i thought he would have trouble with my high speed stainless steel bits but they to work like new!!!I was gonna buy one but buddy says I can use his when needed...and as for that mtd ohhh ya Iam gonna be on him like a cheap suit!!!!tak'in a vacation  the nerve Tongue I've had no one to yell at all week.....hope you and yours have a prospurous new year Big Grin .............crank.it

Thanks for the headup on the Drill DR. I thought it looked like something that would be of good use if it worked. I guess it will then, just have to convince the wife I need it  .
Yeah the nerve but I guess when you become a Master Tech you need to regenerate more often Tongue .
:!: Right back at you crank...Have a Happy New Year!

HEY SHADE and CRANK !!!

I also really like the drill doctor, although I never use one, I bought the mid priced one for my business partner (boss) ...it made him real happy, and saved the thousands of old dull bits that were otherwise destin for the scrap bucket. That's lots of money thrown away!

My problem is normally with breaking small, tiny bits that are a little too short then to resharpen. You know, some guys just drill smaller holes than others. I wouldn't know how to act with a big bit...

...and I don't even know how to regenerate...??? :?

...unless that means spending a few days in the warm FL sunshine!

Talk to ya later!
