Chat
Hey guys,

Just wanted to let you know that I am looking into some kind of chat software that I can add. I have to be careful, as I understand Chat software can put a hard load on a web server, and I don't want to get kicked from my current provider for sucking up all their resources. But I am looking into it.

Because chat engines can be murder on a server, our host only allows one specific program. I have set it up at:
http://www.allautoparts.info/chat

It's an OK chat BUT - it requires setting up a user ID and password of its own - it doesn't read the user ID and password of the forums. So you have to re-enter the ID and PW each time you want to log into the chat. A bit of a pain, but it does seem to work OK.

If you all like it enough, I'll link it in with the menu on the right of this page.

Quite Chat
Hey TAC !

Thanks for getting the "Chat Room" set up for us. Now, if we could just get anyone to use it. So far, it's been a great place to go to be all alone a while.

Maybe we could make it more popular by posting a sticky link to it on one of the more visited 10w40 pages, with some of us guys monitoring it when we are able at specific times.

Thanks again!
Roger
