Corvette Christmas in NYC
Our local Corvette club had a Toys for Tots run through the city this past Saturday night. It was 20* that night, but a few of the guys actually cruised the city with their convertible tops down. Here are a few pics:

Yeah, it was a gift to myself when I came back to the 'states after living overseas for 5 years. I ran across this one with high miles and a few scratches, and it was priced less than a third of what a new one would run, so I figured "why not?" The last high-horsepower V8 I had was a 350 Nova back in high school.

I kinda like this Corvette crowd - mostly older and semi-level headed. I couldn't find the same kind of community with most of the other makes I looked at - ricers were too wild and into street racing, and europeans were too "exclusive." So I got into this crowd pretty cheap and I like their values.
