1993 GMC Sierra Running Rough
Idles wildly when in park. Spits, sputters, jumps when accelorating or pressing the gas while driving. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: 1993 GMC Sierra Running Rough
That defiinitelu sounds like a vaccum leak problem. Check All the skinny black tubes that go into the carb or intake manifold for leaks or cracks, or just plain old brittleness. Also look for metal nipples thY look like they are supposed to have a thin hose connect to them. For each suspect hose or connection, one at a time trace it to the carb or manifold nipple and pull the hose off. If there is no change in the engine performance you may have found your culprit. Cover the nipple with your finger finger and see if the engine smooths out.
