Fiat Ducato Timing Belt

Another question about this Fiat Ducato. 1995 2,5 liter Diesel, 180,00 kilometers. We bought it used and there seems to be no record of the timing belt being changed. How many miles would the original go? How can you tell if it needs to be changed other than knowing how old it is?

The basic rule of thumb on Timing belts is 75-100,000 miles (120-160,000 km). I would say this one is overdue if it has not been done. Since you don't know, I would replace it just for the peace of mind knowing that it is done.

hey just wanna know around what mileage might the 2.8JTD Fiat ducato engine need the timing belt to replaced? does this dodge parts is easy to remove and fix?
