93 Bonneville stalls
I have a 93 Bonneville 3.8L engine 98,000 miles. The car is my son's who is away at college. It was working fine when he left but its been pretty much sitting for the last 3 months. When he came home for Thanksgiving he got it out and started driving it, after a bit it stalled. It will be going along fine and then the service engine soon light comes on then goes out and the check gauges light comes on and then it dies. It starts right back up and will run okay until it happens again. It is happening more frequently than it was at first. Any help on what the problem could be will be greatly appreciated. I don't want to put too much into a car this old.
Thanks, Bogieb

Re: 93 Bonneville stalls
This may be way late, but if the check gauge lamp is coming on it's possible the oil pressure sender is failing & shutting off the fuel pump. DD

If it ain't broke go faster!

Re: 93 Bonneville stalls
Thanks Dirty Dog. After I got under the car and saw how rusted out it was I decided it was time to retire it and look for something newer. I appreciate the help from everyone.
Thanks, Bogieb
