allways make sure that your mechanic is not brain dead
about six weeks ago had mine tell me the pinon bering in the rear end of my 86 jeep cherokee was "getting a little sloppy" and that I " should just drive it untill it gives up". bad idea ass hole on christmas eve I was driving down the higway doing around 60 when I thought it slipped out of gear. before I had time to react I had lost the back tire and axle. this caused me to slamm down turn sideways and roll three times. I was ok but the old rust bucket was done for. so to make a long story short I could have fixed it for about 100.00 now I lost The rig I had just spent over a thousand dollars on getting liftted new tires and wheels on and lets not forget the 6 month old paint job that cost me 600.00. So if you say "if it aint broke don't fix it" then you need to get your head checked.
