Tool Repair
I have a two ton floor-jack that someone gave me about ten years ago. It was made in China, so it worked for a few years and then one day when I went to use it, I found it was leaking hydraulic fluid. Now it won't lift anything heavier than a six-pack of beer.

Has anyone here ever repaired their floor-jack? Is there anywhere I can get info on how to do this? Is it worth fixing? I HATE to throw out something that can be fixed.

Joe,
I have a small 1 ton jack that I repaired some years ago (still works like a champ); it was just a matter of some O-rings that needed replacing.
I also threw out a 1 1/2 ton a few months back. The bleeder valve that released the jack was worn to the point that I couldn't fix it.

My suggestion: take it apart and see what you can do with it.
good luck!

I can fix a whole lot of stuff............I can tear up even more!
