Pinto trans/tooth removal
In high school had a 74 pinto and decided to put v-8 in car. Late one night started removing stock 4 cyl and trans with help of my best friend. While I removed everything in engine compartment, He began removing trans and exhaust. After a while I noticed the car shaking violently. When I asked him what he was doing he said that he had removed crossmember but trans wouldnt drop down. As he began yanking some more I looked in the car just in time to see gear shift knob disappear through hole in trans hump. He crawled quickly out from under car holding his two front teeth in his hand. He had his head directly uner tailshaft pulling downward with all his weight when the trans finally shifted from second to neutral alowing shifter to slip through the floor. :o
