So what do yall think of the new design that nascar has been talking about with the wings on the back. Do yall think there will be any advantages or disadvantages?

What they REALLY need is a rubber ring around the whole car. Like in bumper cars.

The COT is the ugliest thing I've every seen. NASCAR stands for the Nationa Association of STOCK car racing. I know there isnt much that is stock on the current cars, but the COT is even further than that.

You know it is all stock, as far as the block goes, before it has been milled and machined so it no longer resembles anything the manufacturers have started with. As long as the engine block id manufacturer specific, then according to NASCAR, it is stock.

all they are now is glorified tube chassis go carts ,with a shell body thats supposed look like a production unit. whens the last time you saw a v-8 powered rear wheel drive two door tarus. got to admit ,they are veryyyyyyyy fast go carts !

The COT fits right in with the new fan base that they are trying to woo. The Fan Of Tomorrow (FOT) will be gender neutral, racially sensitive, poliotically correct. lattaie drinker wearing pleated trousers and of course an official NASCAR sweater tied around his neck.The COT does not bother him , he doesnt know a studebaker from a tucker. The REAL fans ? There at the local 1/2 mile track watching the REAL stock cars. :roll: :wink:
