Almost got the front end off...
This might be better off in the 'chit-chat' section, I dunno...

Couldn't get my mitts onto anything that'll lift engine high enough to clear the compartment...grrrrrr  ....so stripped off front trim & bumper, removed radiator, lights, lotsa bolts holding radiator support to various other parts.

It's late, got tired & hungry, so there she sits--just waiting for removal of 2 screws @ top/to fenders & 2 nuts @ bottom/to frame--nearly ready to take off radiator support. *Then* will have wide open clearance to come straight out the front (and not so high) with the engine...Whew, what a day!! Smile

Good news is: broke only 1 bolt, had to cut only 1 bolt, found only 1 other that was p-r-e-t-t-y crooked... Big Grin (Got all 3 completely out, woohoo!)

Tomorrow get to strip & pull motor. Getting that darm front end apart took ALL day, and a FULL can of PB Blaster...

God bless my (b/f) assistant--grilled a nice steak for him, smothered in mushrooms & onions--he put up with me & my mess for 10 hours. :!:
