What kind of repair are you asking about? Normally, you replace the battery, but sometimes an older, dead battery can be recovered by completely discharging it, letting it stand for a day or so, then slow-charging it until the specific gravity comes above 1.260- if it will. If the battery has broken terminals, or the case is cracked and has leaked, there isn't much hope for repairing it.
