94 civic barely runs when cold
1994 honda civic ex with v-tech engine and 220,000 miles. i replaced the timing belt, and the next day my car would barely run when I first start it up in the morning. it cranks and starts, but I have to feather the accellerator to keep it running. if i just give it gas, it bogs and dies. after 3 -5 minutes it runs fine, and will start right up. I could drive for 30 minutes and shut it off all day, and it will start right up and run fine. it's only like the first start of the day. the tfi module has been checked and is good. put a new distributor in, but that did nothing. is there a place where i can run KOEO, and KOER tests for codes? I've read that the ECU going bad is common on these cars. any suggestions?

sorry for the wait . if your still having trouble ,check REAL good your timing marks for the timing belt. 1or2 teeth off will give you the symtoms you have make sure settings dont change when tension is applied .

If I remember right the 94 civic, also had a fast idle thermo valve, check the FIT if no air flow change the valve.
A bad ECT would attribute to this condition. And will turn on the MIL. Do you have an active MIL?
