Just testing to see if the new user registration process is working.

Also updated the cookie information so that logons of registered users hold like they're supposed to.

Spammers are gone, but so are users. I haven't seen many new questions posted in the forum. Hope they return.

Some of the reason we didn't see new posts was because I screwed up some server settings so they couldn't create new accounts. If tried to get on the site today you may have gotten either a "Site not availabe" message, or seen that all the messages were from back in AUgust.

I think I've got it all sorted out again now. I hope the servers don't cause any more drama for a while.

Next big project - getting the kinks worked out of the '96 Ram 2500 4X4 I just picked up. Everything seems to be working fine, but I have to give it a good workout soon to see if there are any hidden problems. Hopefully not - I plan to use it to handle a lot of the move to a new house later this month.
All our cars have names - Petey for the PT cruiser, Zack the 350Z, etc. But this truck has made its true personality clear already. It's not Randy the Ram, or Dan the Dodge. It's just the "BFT". My son's Golf is scared of it - keeps moving off to the other side of the parking pad whenever I bring the thing home. But it sure is gonna be fun to mod this winter!

I hope I speak for all when I say good work ROB . I can only imagine the time and resources that you have put into this site. The vast majority of problems are spammer induced. It must pay very well to put up with it.
