Ohio's smoking ban
The new smoking ban in Ohio goes into effect today - I'm not allowed to smoke at work Sad Sad
2 1/2 hours in and I haven't gone insane........yet

I think some ofthese smoking bans go too far. As a non-smoker, I appreciate bans in the office and restaurants, but I think bars and night clubs should be free to set their own rules.

I used to live in Germany where there were no rules, and I would get a headache from stale smoke in the office - and eating out was a chore because you couldn't enjoy the food. It was great coming back to the US for that reason alone.

4 hours in - i'm eating lunch right now and will take my first cig. break. This will definately cut down how much i spend on smokes. I'll go from smoking a pack a day to a pack a week.

Well - I survived Day1. I didn't kill anybody, and I only yelled at 1 person. We shall see what happens tomorrow

Good luck. I quit on Sept. 1 and it is hard to do. Also gained 15 pounds in 3 months.

I for one am all for it it private homes one thing but in public spaces no . I watched a relative die gasping for air with smoking related emphzema all smokers should see something like that IMO
