Acura question
I have an Acura RSX 2002 2.0 I-VTEC engine, auto trans. Here is the $64,000 question(brings you back, right)--how do I tell if this is the regular engine or the Type-S engine, which has quite a bit more HP. Thanks to all in advance. Bob V

Re: Acura question
Introduced for 2002, the front-drive RSX replaced Acura's entry-level Integra. . Acura's RSX came in both base and sportier, performance-oriented Type-S trim. Each used a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The 160-horsepower base model could have a five-speed manual or optional five-speed automatic transmission. In the Type-S, the engine made 200 horsepower and was available only with a six-speed manual gearbox. The Type-S had a firmer suspension, but the same 16-inch wheels and tires as the base model. Leather upholstery was standard in the Type-S. But was available in the base model.
I could run the VIN , for you, it should list the motor type, and H.Power.

Re: Acura question
J- thanks the info. I do have a 5 forward speed auto trans with the leather interior. The ride is super firm, like a pickup truck. From your info, its probably not the Type-S but here is the vin to make sure, if you have time to run it, it would be much appreciated, JH4DC54802C012252 Thanks again for your reply, Bob V
