OK , her goes 1) Do you mean the 67 shelby or the 07 shelby
2) The daytona charger was made in 69 in 70 it was
called the Superbird
3)The GTO never came with a 454
4)Never cared for that year body. Plus it was first domestic
car to have fuel injection (mechanical) and it was a pain
5) Leno owns over 80 cars several of them Dusenburg's
none with 350 cid . Do you mean the Tank car custom
roadester with 30L v12 patton tank eng?
BTW my fav is 70 challenger rag with hemi

Someone I know has a 1966 fastback dodge charger and hes not doing it stock but, I know he has edelbrock something think those are heads? 383 going to be bored to 440 aluminum carb, cold air kit new suspension.... one of my friends tells me Ford makes the best rear axle for high speed racing? anyone know?

the 66' was the 1st charger too if im not mistaken bought it off an older fellow for 6,000 i think 75-80,000 on the motor.

my dad has the 1981 chevy corvette t-tops red mint condition small block 350 in it but still havent been in a car that turned as well. besides the 2003 black corvette me and one of my friends borrowed from his mom to take to high school lol. theirs had the racing chip too. but the OLDER vettes and all domestic cars car better prior to 1980 in my opinion. as long as you swap the drum brakes for disc brakes in the classics and do mods to it to much to type lol. but even stock 50s 60s and 70s cars were nicer than todays quality from our big three. mopar,gm,ford used stainless steel on the oldies but late model cars today are sh1t especially if you are on a limited budget. today cars are made out of aluminum BS dunno about you but if im in an accident I'd rather have the car weighing in at 5500 lbs. Planning on purchasing a 69 lincoln continental with a bunch of mods. and the 58 caddie series 61, also the oldsmobile super 88s. The company Plymouth not sure how they folded but the Plymoth Road Runner Im going to definely going to look into too. HEMI 426s? and 454?s in these oldies, also 20s or better lol im not even BLACK but i do like having a huge tire with at least 305 width. EASIER to cut medians lol jk guys.

the 67 when they were made by shelby american the company not Ford, or something or other. I heard the shelby dude tried to sell the idea to GM first but basically got told to go phuck himself

Chris , first let me say how impressed by your desire and interest in vintage iron . however the shelby is a ford mustang built by fomco.Carroll Shelby did not manufacter cars from scratch .HOWEVER he did extensively modify the 'tang till it hardly resembled the stock unit.AND in the GTO remember a 454 is a chevy powerplant the 455 a buick/olds number.on a dodge nothing wrong with a stock limited slip unit . for street racing stick with a 340 .if you want BB inches go to a real 426 hemi. NASCAR banned them for a reason!

yeah ive heard very good things from my friend matt who is going to the service soon, im alittle stressed he has to go to georgia than to sh1thole iraq but hes a marksman, just have to wait 2-4 years dam man. this guy matt is the one with the 66 charger 383 longblock but evidently hes boring it to 440 dunno hes bro is master tech he went to a very reputable school in ohio 2 yrs light and heavy diesel training, also 2 years automotive. so naturally im very good friends with dude, ive retained most of my useful car knowledge from him, hes unfortunetly in a county jail right know and I really need to find a job to bail him out, or nigga needs to call a bailbondsmen and he can pay 10 percent which wont be much considering he backhanded his wifey and its not funny all i know is as soon as i make 80 dollars lol im calling dog the bounty hunter or equivilant.

but back to big block powerplant discussion, know on the 426 obviously I can get a brand new one off ebay, or I could check salvage yard LOL, but I wouldnt be opposed to getting a beat up highly used 426 with many miles on it because I understand how to rebuild the engine but you could certainly help me get the job done quicker and the right way too which is the most important. What do you recommend boring the 426 out too to get more juice, also would buy a cold air intake kit and any other modifications my racing mind can muster.

My top two are easy. Other than that it could go a lot of different ways.
Here goes.

1) 1958 Impala (first Impala)
2) 1963 Corvette (split window)
3) 1965 Riviera
4) 1939 4 door Chevy Master De Luxe
5) 1959 Eldorado

Favorite cars that I've owned?
1) 1962 VW Bug

2) 1988 Chevy S10 (because I lowered it and replaced motor and tranny myself)

3) 1969 Firebird (I didn't have it very long. Totalled)
