96 Dodge Caravan transmission

HELP!!
My 96 dodge caravan is slipping gears when going into 3rd from 2nd. It doesn't have a modulator valve, so what else could be wrong with it? It runs fine after it finally goes into 4th. Please help me!! :cry:

you are correct about the modulator, it has an electronic governor.
unfortunately for you, this problem will only get worse.
You're looking at a rebuild. (you might find a shop to do a partial repair, however, won't come with much of a warranty)

well when i read this topic, the first thing that came into my mind is the filter and fluid. because i got this Dodge Caravan repair problem i last month and that's what i did. check the filter and fluid change. well got it from automd.
