factory alarm-1994 cadillac 4.6 vin B with pass-key
It's good to be back! The site looks good. I thought I was in the wrong place. Now to my drama. My uncle has a 1994 Cad 4.6 vin B with a factory alarm with a key module. It disables the starter and the fuel pump, the dash up displays "try again in three minutes"
I think the ignition pass-key wire is not connected anymore. Can I bypass the key module with a jump wire to cavities 12 & 13 on the steering column? Or is there a way to disable the alarm and drive the car? One more ? Were is the pass-key module and starter relay located? Can I use a jumper wire (diagram) [attachment=0]

If your stil interested ,under the dash near column there are two very small orange wires with a connector. 90% of the time these smalll wires break at the ign tumbler . Take a ohmn meter and read across key pellet . go to RADIO SHACK and buy a same value resistor(your allowed +- 10%) .solder across the two wires on the car side of connector.

Re-tired you are great. I knew there had to be a way around this drama. Yes it played out, My family has all the character's. I know this will fix it. So simple and so complex. And very cheap [smilie=pdt_alc.gif] . THANKS fstf2v
