It's time again for our annual picks for the Sprint Cup.
Will Jimmie Johnson make it a 3peat?
Will Kyle Busch pull himself together and win it?
Will Jr finally get his first???

My pick...............

the backflipper - Carl Edwards.
88-n-08
Still a long shot, but I am a Childress fan til i die..29 wins 31 comes in second.
2 wins for Biffle and he's TIED FOR SECOND??? They should award bonus points FTW just like they do in regular season.
Kyle blowin up was a bootiful sight and w2o, your boy Harvick moved up 5 spots and Boyer up 3 - WTG Childress :!: :!:
Jr still in de hunt . Better check your mirror. 8)

After that blowout last night, Jr is just a little speck in the rear view of JJ.
My pick has dropped down to fourth and who is this Jeff Burton guy? Where did he come from?
With 5 races left, anything can happen.
This Burton guy is Richard Childress Racing. Nobody expected him to be any kind of a contender because he is like Martin. He is too nice a driver. My choice may be reverser. Could be 31 and then 07 and then 29. 1--2--3 That would really be a treat. Sorry retired. Guess the 88 has to wait another year. As long as 48 don't win, everything is OK. [smilie=pdt_al.gif]
maybe we can get retired to try the sugar in the #48 gas tank trick at Homestead again. Just make sure you take sugar, not Seafoam
I think retired really likes Johnson and Gordon. He will deny it, but I really think he does.
At least Jr has been magnanimous in defeat . Hey , just be glad its "Jeff Burton " and not "Ward Burton". We Would have needed an interpreter. He speaks speaks fluent West Virginian .

WOW retired thats one of them there BIG words!!
I heard it in a movie . then looked it up in dictionary . not really shure what it means but it kinna just rolls off the tongue. [smilie=pdt_apl.gif]
Momma retired told him how to spell it so he could find it.
Somebody gotta do something to that 48. He got too big a lead now. Maybe retired can shoot his tries out next week.
4 races to go and a 149 point lead. Looks like a 3peat for JJ is looming [smilie=pdt_bur2.gif]
What are we going to do to keep the 48 from running away with this thing. Maybe we can get somebody from out west top go to the track and help him out. [smilie=pdt_al.gif]
What a finish by Carl Edwards.   48 almost had a bad race. It's still a long shot, but my original prediction is sure gonna make a run for it
The only way JJ can lose the championship now is if he Jeff Gordons the engine on lap 1 and back flipper dominates the race. Here's hopin
Hell, now we got to wait another year. So I guess we can start working on next February.
Congratulations to Jimmie Johnson, Chad Knaus, Rick Hendrick and the entire #48 team. That is a heck of an acclompishment to win the Cup 3 times in a row.
Now let somebody else have a chance!!!!!! [smilie=pdt_velo.gif] [smilie=pdt_mad3.gif]

So here's my early 2009 predictions
Roush continues it's domination early in the season, but one of the boys from the Childress stable will take home the cup.
